Dual-Gamma Ash Analyzer - Model DGA-410 & DGA-410M

Overview

The Model DGA-410 and DGA-410M Dual-Gamma Ash Analyzers are advanced instruments designed to measure the ash content, heating value, and weight of combustible materials. The DGA-410M includes a density-based moisture correlation module for measuring moisture. Originally developed for the coal industry, these models are now used in cement, minerals, and biomass processing.

How It Works

The system uses a source and detector mounted across a conveyor belt to perform real-time, non-contact analysis. Signals are processed by an industrial computer which serves results instantly.

Measurement Frequency

Readings are taken every 3 seconds, then averaged over 60 seconds to provide minute-by-minute values. These include:

  • • Ash content
  • • Heating value
  • • Weight
  • • Moisture (410M model only)

These values are output to control systems via analog/digital interfaces or database access, allowing sorting and blending based on quality.
